When I use CNX-D I use "Save all adjustments" and ignore the side cars. I would ignore the folder and it's files. ![]() I never installed VNX-i and I'll guess it's there because of VNX-i and its version of transfer. I downloaded and installed VNX2, 64 bit, Win7. I don't get that folder from Nikon transfer. It's filled with files with a nksc extension that are 19kb each. ![]() ![]() I absolutely have that folder inside the photo folder after downloading a card. The folder is whispering: Use Capture NX-D. I agree that folder should not be created when downloading your photos. It's just another reason I avoid using Capture. The folder is always empty and there seeminly are no options/preferences connected to it either in View or Capture. I don't get that folder after using transfer in View NX-2 but only after I edit a file in Capture. No one else automatically gets that directory?! Weird! I think that folder started getting created on my last Nikon Transfer 2 upgrade. No, I don't have it configured to open anything after the transfer is complete. I don't think I need it since my workflow doesn't include NX-D.ġ) Is there a way to stop this folder and all the files from being created? I don't see an option in Transfer.Ģ) Am I missing something? Are they useful if you aren't using NX-D? ![]() I guess with the new Nikon Transfer program, every time I dump my cards to my Mac, I get a NKSC_PARAM folder. So I'm still chugging along with my View NX and Capture NX2, and my D800s. ![]()
